Amy Bannister-Bell Bsc (hons), BHSI & British Showjumping UKCC L3 Coach.
Amy grew up in North Wales, and being from a non horsey family started out in a riding school and eventually persuaded her parents to buy her a pony and the rest is history. Although Amy's parents didn't have a horsey backgrounds they always made sure she was supported by knowledgeable and respected people who provided her with invaluable experience from her role models within the equine industry.
After gaining her BHSI when she was 25 she graduated with a first class honours degree in Equine Science and Welfare which led her to become a part-time lecturer for the Equine Degree at Glyndwr University in North Wales which she finds very rewarding. Amy also enjoys her role as a BHS Assessor, alongside coaching her private clients in a range of disciplines including eventing, dressage, showjumping and showing. In her spare time (if that exists in horse world!) she likes to produce/compete the competition horses & ponies bred at Clwydian Stud.
Amy feels your own personal development is vital to remain current and inspired as a coach so ensures she keeps up training on her own horses with Eric Smiley FBHS and Erik Mackechnie-Guire FBHS.
